Workgroup Members and Goals
KDIGO has formed workgroups that are pursuing a variety of global initiatives. Workgroup goals and membership are as follows:
Database/Data Warehouse
Goals: To establish a clearinghouse of current clinical practice guidelines (completed, revised, under development and planned). To facilitate implementation and measure applicable to local needs.

Evidence Rating

Bone and Mineral Initiative
Goal: Improve outcomes in bone and mineral metabolism in CKD patients worldwide by fostering clinical consensus on evaluation and treatment of mineral and bone disorders; facilitating initiatives that improve clinical practice in the care of mineral and bone disorders; and developing educational materials that enhance understanding of the complexities of this disorder.

Implementation in Regions with Clinical Practice Guidelines
Goal: To formalize and evaluate implementation strategies and determine best/successful strategies. In cooperation with local volunteer groups from different countries, begin selection guidelines and facilitate their implementation at the regional level (provide guidelines, tools, measures).
